Melisa grew up in Lyn and attended Athens District High School. She graduated from the St. Lawrence College (Kingston) – Veterinary Technology program and obtained her RVT status in 2013. She spent the next 7 years living and working in Kingston before welcoming her son and taking the past few years off to stay at home with him. Melisa, her husband Jason and their son, Hunter now live in Lyn with their old man Yellow Lab, Buddy and two senior kitty girls, Baby and Pumpkin.
