Dr. Alexandria Schraenkler, DVM
Providing compassionate care for your beloved pets in Eastern Ontario.
Dr. Alexandria Schraenkler grew up in rural Ontario in the small town
of Douglas, located in Renfrew County. From a young age, she was
exposed to both companion animals and livestock, spending much of her
time visiting and helping on her grandmother’s farm. She completed her
Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Biology at the University of
Guelph, followed by her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree at the
Ontario Veterinary College, graduating in 2026. Dr. Schraenkler has a
particular interest in mixed animal medicine, with a passion for
surgery and shelter medicine. She currently lives in Seeley’s Bay, on
a cash crop and cow-calf beef farm with her fiancé and their cat.
Outside of veterinary medicine, Dr. Schraenkler enjoys playing
volleyball and soccer as well as going hiking, camping, and spending
time outdoors.
